Why did you apply for the Graduate Program?
I think this is a truly unique opportunity because, at the beginning of a professional career, it is not always easy to have everything figured out. As a recent graduate, I don’t immediately have a clear idea of what I want to do long term or in which specific area I will be able to fully realize my potential. What I find remarkable about this program is that it gives me the space to do exactly that. By working in different fields over the course of two years, I will be exposed to a variety of challenges, perspectives, and ways of working. This experience will allow me to broaden my horizons and see how my academic background and skills can be applied in diverse contexts. Step by step, I expect to understand not only where I can contribute most, but also where I feel most motivated and fulfilled.
What is your favourite thing about being a Graduate?
For me, and I'm sure many others, the most valuable part of this program is the sense of community it creates. What makes it special is that you begin the journey as part of a group, which allows you to share experiences, emotions, and personal growth. I really appreciate this group: not only do we support each other at work, we also meet outside the workplace in a natural, spontaneous way. I believe this is possible thanks to the strong organization and structure behind the program, which fosters these connections.
Another aspect I value is that some of us are new to the city. Having such a community makes it much easier to form meaningful bonds, something that can otherwise be challenging when you first enter the workplace. Colleagues are often at different life stages, with different priorities and perspectives, so it isn’t as straightforward as it was during university, where everyone was on the same wavelength and going through similar experiences. In that sense, the program really bridges the gap and creates a unique opportunity to build both professional and personal relationships.
