Louise Kragh Engel Jensen joined GN as part of the Finance Graduate Program from 2019 to 2022. After the program, she quickly advanced from an Analyst role to Head of Strategic Pricing in GN Hearing. Her journey highlights the growth opportunities within the organization, if you raise your hand and are open for challenges

Louise first learned about the GN Graduate Program at a graduate fair while studying at Copenhagen Business School. “I had a student position in an investment bank where we covered GN, and I thought it sounded like a great company,” she recalls. The recruitment process was intense, involving multiple interviews and assessments, but she appreciated the thoroughness that led her to GN.

One of the appealing aspects of the graduate program to Louise was the fact that you get a rotation abroad. When Louise began the Graduate Program, she initially thought she could choose her desired rotations, including international placements. However, she ended up in Germany for her international rotation, which she did not select herself.

I ended up having an amazing rotation in Germany. I just didn't choose it myself, and that's all right. Afterall, the most important is it makes sense for the business,” she adds. This experience taught her the value of being open to unexpected opportunities, reinforcing the supportive culture at GN. “I was met with such a warm welcome from the office, also during the pandemicthey even helped me get the groceries!”

After completing the Graduate Program, Louise continued her career in Pricing, where she has spent the last four years. “I started as an analyst and have now developed into the Head of Strategic Pricing in our Hearing division,” she says, showcasing the advancement opportunities at GN.

Louise values the company culture, stating, “We definitely have a special culture here at GN. The values of listening, challenging, and transforming are integral to our work environment.” She encourages future applicants to consider the Graduate Program, emphasizing the internal growth potential and the importance of approaching the process with curiosity.

For women in finance, Louise reassures them that GN fosters an inclusive culture. “Even in a traditionally male-dominated field, I’ve had positive experiences and feel supported,” she shares.

In conclusion, Louise reflects on her decision to join the Graduate Program: “I have not regretted it. The network and exposure to different departments have been invaluable in shaping my career.
