At GN we take pride in how our audio products improve people’s quality of life. Sound is at the core of GN’s businesses and an imperative part of people’s lives. We use it for safety reasons when we step out in the street, and we use it for enjoyment when we listen to music or watch TV. But first and foremost we use it when we communicate.

Through our businesses, GN ReSound and GN Netcom, GN is on a mission to improve people’s quality of life by developing innovative audio technologies that help hearing impaired and set the future for hands free communication. GN wants to be recognized as a reliable and responsible company by our stakeholders. We believe that part of our global presence is taking responsibility by proactively addressing the ethical, social and environmental challenges that we face when operating our business.

UN Global Compact
As a signatory to the UN Global Compact since 2010, GN wishes to send a signal to all of its stakeholders that we take our responsibility seriously and we take an active stand in implementing the UN Compact’s ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption. 

Once a year we publish a Communication on Progress (COP) report elucidating our efforts. Communication on Progress 2013 was published on February 14, 2014 and covers the period from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013.
